YOUR LEMON LAW TEAM
With over 16 years of California Lemon Law experience, Jon has the background and experience to get you the best result. He sold cars at a major Bay Area dealership to pay his way through law school. After graduating he defended car dealers, but a few years later switched sides and began representing consumers in Lemon Law and dealer fraud matters, finally opening his own office in 2003. Since then he has resolved more than a thousand Lemon Law cases as a successful Rocklin Lemon Law attorney first serving the Sacramento metro area but now all of California. Jon is a true car guy, driving the same supercharged 2006 Mustang Saleen Convertible he’s had since new. And with manufacturers making cars ever more powerful, when it came time add a “chase car” to participate in manufacturers’ vehicle inspections he bought American muscle again, this time going with an American Supercar – a 2016 Chevy Corvette Z06. Remember, American cars mean American jobs. With all the crazy stuff going on in the world lets make every effort to keep America strong.

ENRIQUE DOMINGUEZ-CRUZ – J.D., Law Clerk (Bilingual – Spanish)
Enrique Dominguez-Cruz is of modest beginnings, born and raised in Sacramento County by a Mexican immigrant family. Though means were often scarce, values were of high significance, and since birth the values of community and a solid work ethic were instilled in Enrique. Putting these values to work (literally), Enrique worked hard labor in the fields of central and northern California at the age of five in order to help the family make ends meet. Shortly thereafter, Enrique began his academic career, and enjoyed being of service to his fellow classmates and neighbors as a math and science tutor. This hard work and attention to his community continued throughout his teens and brought about distinction by earning Enrique many national scholarships, including a scholarship from the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Ronald McDonald House scholarship, the Horatio Alger scholarship, the California Governor’s Scholarship, and the Millennium Gates Scholarship, which is a full-ride academic scholarship to any university in the world.
Enrique decided to stay close to home and matriculated at the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied Sociology, Math, and pre-med courses. During his undergraduate career, Enrique happily served his fellow classmates as a Spanish, math, and science tutor. He also worked with an alcohol and drug reform policy non-profit organization, helping to craft a Berkeley city ordinance that was aimed at reducing drunk driving in the community of Berkeley. The ordinance eventually passed. This was Enrique’s first experience using the law as a tool for the betterment of the community.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Enrique decided to continue his trend of helping fellow students pursue higher education and worked as a Success Coach for a downtown San Francisco company which worked with universities across the country to help its students maximize their potential and achieve their dreams of earning a degree. Enrique climbed the company ladder, including working on the company Roundtable, a cross-departmental committee comprised of coaches, executives, and analysts to spearhead beta projects and brainstorm strategies to further company goals. Some of Enrique’s ideas eventually became implemented company wide.
After working with students to achieve their dreams of a higher education, Enrique continued his academic career at San Francisco Law School in pursuit of a Juris Doctor degree. Enrique supplemented his law study by implementing real world experience, working with law firms as an ambassador to the Latino community in California, helping the underserved communities connect with law firms who specialized in the community’s needs, many of whom spoke only Spanish. Enrique further served his community by working for a downtown San Francisco law firm as a Law Clerk and Hearing Representative, serving many clients who would otherwise have no voice, overlooked by most law firms because they did not fit their “target clientele”.
After earning his JD, Enrique joined The Law Office of Jon Jacobs because the firm matched his values ”“ putting forth a solid work ethic in service to the community, particularly those who are not the most powerful. Enrique enjoys working for the consumer, many of whom would otherwise be “outgunned” in a legal battle against the powerful corporate entities with an army of corporate attorneys and bottomless coffers. Enrique plans to soon serve the firm’s clients as a licensed attorney.
Outside of work, Enrique enjoys spending time with his family, including his fiance and their Yorkie, Molly.
