Recent Lemon Law Vehicles in California

Breaking News in Lemon Law California Cases October 15, 2014 – Toyota has issued three new recalls which equate to more than 1.75 million vehicles being recalled. The largest and smallest of the three recalls mostly covers vehicle sold in Japan. The second recall of 759,000 vehicles include 423,000 Lexus models sold in the United States made between 2005 and 2010. The Lexus IS, GS and LS luxury sedans and Toyota Auris compact hatchback are among the 10 models being called back. Toyota is trying to fix an issue with the fuel delivery pipes which can increase the risk of a vehicle fire. This recall certainly keeps eyes on Toyota this year. Earlier this year Toyota agreed to pay a $1.2 billion dollar fine, the largest ever paid out, to settle a criminal investigation into its conduct during an acceleration recall 4 years ago of more than 10 million vehicles. GM also has the public’s attention this year. GM has recalled more than 30 million vehicle so far in 2014. General Motors has been taking a lot of heat with regards to how it handled an ignition switch flaw which has been traced back to at least 23 reported deaths in the U.S. Future Auto Market Ford is looking to get back into the small Pickup market in the U.S. Not since the Ford Ranger has Ford had a small or mid-sized pickup on the U.S. market.
