Our Story
Jon Jacobs didn’t set out to become a lawyer. He set out to stand up to bullies, big companies, and broken systems. After losing a fight against developers who destroyed the greenbelt behind his first home because they had lawyers and he didn’t, Jon decided he would become someone who could push back and protect people’s rights. That fire only grew stronger as he later defeated a major cable company and city officials who tried to take over his property.
While in law school, Jon supported his family by working in car sales, where he saw firsthand how vehicle manufacturers deny legitimate warranty claims and leave consumers stuck. He later worked representing car dealers, where he learned how manufacturers operate and the strategies they use to deny valid claims. Armed with that insider knowledge, he moved to the consumer side and successfully helped hundreds of people with lemon law cases.
In 2003, Jon opened LemonBuyBack.com to put his clients first, always. Today, he fights relentlessly and stands up to car companies to protect consumers across California.
